Yu Yuphoria Major Pros And Cons With Quick Review
Yu Yuphoria, the next Yu smartphone, will it be able to continue Yureka legacy? What are its pros and cons and what will this device cost? We’ll discuss all these things in this post and will try to find out how this device will impact the market, consumers and tech journo.

Yuphoria launched just a few days back at the estimated price of about 7,000 INR and with the specs of a flagship. This device will make a huge impact in the market similar as Yureka, which almost ripped the Amazon.com with traffic and the features listed with Yuphoria are amazing, however, it’s not exceptional, when it comes to features. Many devices with the same specs and price are already available in the market, which will make it difficult for yu to stand out. We analyzed this device capability and its advantages and drawbacks or we rather say pros and cons but first, check out the specifications of this device.

Pros

Body

Yuphoria is an 8.2 MM thick smartphone with full body metal frame coming in the same color options as iPhone 6. This is probably the cheapest smartphone with full body metal frame. The device looks unexpectedly a lot glossier but beautiful. The device is safe from smudges and fingerprints and there is a gorilla glass 3 too for taking care of touch screen.
Camera
In numbers, the 8 MP camera of Yuphoria seems pretty ordinary, but it’s really well optimized and we expect a great performance from this. The sensor for rear camera is as wide as eureka. There is a 5 MP front camera for all the selfie junkies. Both snappers can record videos at 1080p.
Battery Saving Processor

The Snapdragon 410 processor is heavily optimized for low battery consumption and with Quick Charge, your device can be charged a lot quicker and a 2230 mAh battery is a lot when you’re getting this good optimization. You can expect Yuphoria to run about 2 days with normal usage and 7-10 hours with excessive usage with a single charge.
Futuristic Build And Software
One of the most impressive thing with Yuphoria is that this is a future ready device with all the features like LTE, 64-bit architecture and heavily optimized and tweaked Cyanogenmod ROM, which is famous for its continuous and fast updates for all the supported devices.
Sharp Display

5.0 inches HD IPS LCD display is very crisp and the output is bright is detailed and bright. With 16.7 Million colors, pictures and videos will be vivid and sharp.
Decent Speed

2 GB RAM is there, hence we don’t much have to worry about multitasking, Adreno 306 GPU will handle your graphics and as mentioned, the snapdragon 410 quad core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz will take care of the rest.

Cons

Lacks Many Basic Features
  • No OTG Support
  • No Wifi Direct
  • No HDMI
  • No LED Notification

Tough To Get
Just like Yureka, Yuphoria too will be in very limited stocks making it real tough to order and will only be available on Amazon just like other phone.
That’s all I can say for this smartphone, Yuphoria is definitely a pick as it scores 5 out of 5 according to us and you should consider this device for sure, if you’re about to buy one.
