Quick Review With Pros And Cons

As the device is just launched and not much information is available, we can’t provide accurate and in-depth review of the performance, we’ll judge the device with the numbers.

Micromax Unite 3 is pretty much 90% same as Unite 2 and even Canvas spark, which is almost 1,500 rupees less costly. I think this device don’t any review because the performance will 100% similar to Unite 2 and that is kind of disappointing as there are much better options already available in the market and Unite 3 doesn’t seem to be appealing. I don’t know what to say about this device as there is nothing new. The only thing changed is the new or we rather say an upgraded SoC, but that doesn’t make any drastic difference. Same 1 GB RAM, 8 Internal storage. The camera has been upgraded though, an 8 MP camera replaced 5 MP one from Unite 2 and now it is capable recording 720p videos at 30 fps. The battery is same at 2000 mAh.

Pros

1. Body
Unite 3 body seem to be same as Unite 2 and the good thing is that Unite 2 body was good, the polycarbonate plastic back panel is good for grip and looks Ok. Unite 3 is expected to be more lighter compared to its predecessor.
2. Camera
Not really great, but a decent 8 MP camera with decent features such as autofocus, panaroma and many others. You can also record videos at 720p@30fps.

Cons

1. No Gorilla Glass
There is no gorilla glass in this device, which is surprisingly available in Canvas spark and many other smartphones in this and below this price range.
2.  Performance

Not really impressed with the processor of the device, the performance of Unite 2 was not above the mark and the device started to get laggy with time and Micromax had the chance to fix this with Unite 3 but they didn’t do anything special hence, same performance is expected from Unite 3.
This article will be updated with time as we’ll get more information about the device and its performance, but one thing is sure that it won’t be a big success in this budget.
